Kano police arrest 11 Muslims for eating during Ramadan fast.
The Ramadan enforcement officials arrested 11 individuals after they were caught eating on Tuesday, 12th March 2024. The officials went on a search of eateries and markets and arrested 10 men and 1 woman.
The woman was caught eating in her stall while others ate in the market and restaurants. The officials said anyone found selling food during fasting hours will be punished by the law including non-Muslims because it is a violation of Islamic law.
