Police rescue abandoned baby in Lagos State


Men of the Lagos state Police command have rescued a baby who was abandoned in Ketu in Lagos state.

The baby was found at a bus park in Ketu area of the state.

Mr Benjamin Hundeyin who is the spokesperson of the Command confirmed this recently.

He revealed this information on twitter saying that they were able to rescue a baby and the baby is in a healthy state.

He revealed that they had found this baby and rescued the baby early on Wednesday morning around 4:30 am.

He also mentioned how it had been a resident of Lagos State who was heading for work around that time and found this baby. The Baby had been put under a parked bus and this man heard the cries.

He then alerted the officers in the area and they came to the rescue.

They have kept the baby In safe custody and are investigating the case.
