President Tinubu holds meeting with governors, and others at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja over the cost of living crisis.
In attendance are Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Minster of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and state governors of the federation. The meeting was set up to discuss the high cost of living, food crisis, insecurity and other related issues the nation is engulfed in.
Recall that few days ago, the President ordered the Ministry of Agriculture to release about 42,000 tonnes of foodstuffs in the national reserve due to the food crisis in the country. Despite this, Nigerians have continued to lament about the exorbitant prices of basic food items in the market.
