On the occasion of the 2022 Children's Day, President Muhammadu Buhari is celebrating with teenage Nigerians.

Buhari promised that his administration would keep working hard to guarantee that every child has access to an education that will prepare them for a bright future.

The Nigerian leader recognizes the importance of education in the growth of every country, according to a statement released by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, on Thursday.

According to the government, Buhari is committed to seeing a major drop in the number of children who are out of school.

He noted that while education remains a priority, other issues such as healthcare, protection from harm, narcotics, cultism, child trafficking and abuse, and domestic violence are also being addressed.

Buhari believes that Nigerian children deserve the best and a safe country in which to grow, make friends, communicate, and travel freely, and eventually become effective leaders in various industries.

"We are establishing a firm basis for future generations," the President remarked, referring to investments in infrastructure, youth development, education, ICT, digital economy, culture, arts, and entertainment.
