President Tinubu suspended the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa yesterday on the grounds of misconduct in office.
He has been asked to hand over the affairs of his office to the Director of Operations in the commission pending the time of his investigation.
According to the report, he was called in for a meeting with the president yesterday morning before the suspension happened.
