Colleagues of a resident Doctor at Lagos Island general hospital, whose name was Dr. Vwaere Diaso, shared on Twitter how she died in an elevator on her way to pick up the food she ordered from a dispatch rider.

According to her colleagues, the hospital's elevator has been faulty since last year, and several complaints have been made to the management so the elevator would be fixed. All complaints fell on deaf ears and everyone has risked using the elevator.

Unfortunately for this lady, the moment she entered the elevator from the 10th floor, it fell straight to the ground floor. When the rescue team arrived at the scene, it took them one hour to get Dr. Vwaere Diaso out. When they succeeded at taking her out, she was bleeding profusely and was immediately rushed to the emergency room. Unfortunately, there was no blood to stabilize her in the hospital, and this lady breathed her last.

The colleagues said that each time one of them spoke about the faulty elevator, the management threatened to suspend their license

Her colleagues said the incident would not have occurred if the hospital management had repaired the elevator before it took someone's life. One of them narrated how the lady lost her life due to unpreparedness of the staff. Read from the screenshots below.
