Where is Nnamdi Kanu today?
Nnamdi Kanu is a British-Nigerian political activist and the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) which was founded in 2014. Nnamdi Kanu's goal is to secede the Igbo tribe from Nigeria and restore the Biafran state which existed during the Civil War of 1967-1970.
Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in Nigeria on 14th October 2015 for treason. He was detained and later released on bail in 2017. He was re-arrested by Interpol in 2021 for agitating for independence for Biafra and he has been in custody ever since
