Senator Annie Okonkwo passes away, Governor Soludo mourns him.

Senator Annie Okonkwo has passed away just recently. He represented the Anambra Central Senatorial District.
It was a family member who confirmed his death.

The Governor of Anambra State, Gov Soludo has mourned the death of the late Senator Annie Okonkwo.

The late Senator had passed away recently in the US after a long battle with a terminal illness.

He expressed his sadness at the death of the former Senator who was representing Anambra Central Senatorial District.

Recall that just about few weeks ago, he celebrated his 63rd birthday.

The Governor sympathized with the family of the late Senator and prayed for them that God will help them to bear this loss. He also prayed that the deceased will rest in peace and God will grant him eternal rest.

He also revealed that the late Senator Okonkwo always paid his dues while serving the state.
