Nigerian street artist Oluwaloseyi Balogun popularly known as Seyi Vibez dedicated his win at the 16th Headies to his late mom.
The artist took home the award for Best Street-Hop Single for his viral hit Chance which topped charts and shook the streets massively.
Seyi Vibez song won the award defeating songs like Asake's Joha, Mohbad's Peace and Rexxie's Abracadabra.
While giving his speech on stage, Seyi Vibez dedicated his win to God and also his late mom saying, "I lost my mom about five months ago. I dedicate this award to her."
He also went on to give a shout out to his fans and everyone supporting his music saying, "To everyone supporting my music, I love you"
Singer Seyi Vibez lost his mom in March 2023. Though the reason for her death remains undisclosed, the artist never hesitates to pay tribute to his mom in his songs.
