Nigerian singer Akinwale Joseph popularly known as Joeboy confirms his exit from singer Tosin Ajibade aka Mr Eazi's record label emPawa Africa.

Joeboy who recently got signed to Warner Music has opened up on leaving Mr Eazi's label a few months ago. In an interview with The Beat FM, Joeboy said he had to leave emPawa Africa since his contract had ended. Joeboy has been under Mr. Eazi since the release of his first single "Baby" in 2019 which shot him into the limelight. Joeboy also confirmed that he and Mr Eazi still have a cordial relationship.

Joeboy spoke about how he has managed to be himself despite several industry influences. He believes that he will continue to keep it real even though it means going a longer route to achieve his dreams.
