Special adviser Dada Olusegun expresses gratitude to President Tinubu over appointment
The Special Adviser Social media to the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken to Twitter to express his gratitude to the President for his appointment.
He shared a lengthy message to appreciate President Tinuni who appointed him as the Special adviser for social media.
Recall President Bola Tinubu made his first set of appointments after his inauguration and Dada Olusegun was among the first set.
The first set of appointments included Kunle Adeleke as the State Chief of Protocol (SCOP) to the President, Dele Alake who was the Lagos State Commissioner of Information and Olusegun Dada as Special Adviser, Digital Media.
Dada in his message to Tinubu expressed his deepest gratitude for such an opportunity which he described as invaluable.
He thanked him for the opportunity to serve the nation as the Special Assistant on Social.
He revealed that he accepts the role with great honor and enthusiasm even though he knows the role comes with great responsibility.
He said this appointment shows the President’s acknowledgement of the power of the ‘digital town square’ and the role it plays to shape public opinion.
He then pleaded to serve with loyalty and dedication and also work towards advancing the goals of the administration.
He also revealed that his appointment is a great sign of President Bola Tinubu’s allegiance to equity, Social justice and also including young people in governance and leadership roles.
He then urged young people like himself to discard the division which the elections brought about and commit themselves to ensuring the success of this administration which is for the people’s interests.
