The cryptocurrency market is a little over ten years old, and it is just at the beginning of its journey. If you look at http://uphold.com/en/assets/crypto/buy-cardano. For comparison, the daily turnover of the currency market alone exceeded $6.6 trillion in 2019, and the stock market turnover exceeds $80 trillion, while the capitalization of cryptocurrencies does not exceed $340 billion - 200 times less than the turnover of the stock market. The smaller the capitalization, the easier it is to manipulate. Theoretically, it is enough to sell (BTC) by just $1 billion directly through exchanges to collapse the rate by more than 50%, which in other markets would be impossible because of high liquidity.
