Tanker carrying diesel catches fire in Ibadan
A tanker carrying diesel caught fire in Ibadan, Oyo State just a few hours ago. The incident happened around Olunde-Olomi Road in Ibadan.
The tanker was coming from Olunde when this happened.
Sources state that they had seen fire coming from underneath the tanker and they alerted the driver who jumped out of the tanker quickly.
Everyone in the area also ran for safety because they knew how serious it was.
The fire eventually spread and then caused an explosion. The diesel that the tanker was carrying flowed out of the vehicle into the drainage and continued burning.
As at the time of this report, there was yet to be any responses from the fire service in the state regarding the incident.
