Mohbad's colleagues in the music industry remembered and honored him by observing a one-minute silence before their performance at the EreKeeve 2023 festival which took place somewhere in Ogun State. In the gathering of artists, you will see the likes of OAP Dotun, Seyi Vibez, Zlatan, Bella Shmurda, Small Doctor, and the like as they respectfully observed one minute of silence before unleashing their energy at the performance. It was said that Mohbad was meant to perform a that same show. Unfortunately, he is no more.
Mohbad whose name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba was a talented Nigerian artist who struggled to make a name for himself in the music industry. While he was signed to Marlian Records, fans enjoyed his songs and loved his baritone voice. He became popular for singing KPK, Ponmo, Feel Good, Komajensun, and the like.
He died on the 12th of September 2023 after an injection was administered to him in his Lekki residence. Although it hasn't been categorically stated that the injection led to his death. The cause of his death would be revealed after the result of the autopsy performed on his corpse became public.
