President Bola Ahmed Tinubu finally reacts to the alleged 2024 budget padding as he says the people do not trust his administration's integrity.
Recall that Senator Abdul Ningi representing Bauchi Central was suspended by the National Assembly after laying claims that about N3.7 trillion was added to the 2024 budget.
Speaking on the matter, President Tinubu stated that he knows the arithmetic of the budget submitted to the National Assembly and the numbers that came back. Tinubu said he trusts the integrity of the lawmakers opposed to what most people think.
Pres. Tinubu added that those talking about the alleged budget padding do not understand the numbers that was submitted. Tinubu thanked the lawmakers for handling the budget, assuring that the current economic hardship will be over soon.
