A Nigerian woman has gone viral for correcting a foodseller over an unhygienic cooking habit. This woman had gone to the market to purchase food items for her family when she saw a food seller who sliced yams on the floor. These yams were the ones she was going to cook for her customers and instead of slicing them into a pot, she sliced them on the bare floor.
This was considered unhygienic and unhealthy because the food could easily get infected. When the woman who was recording confronted the food seller, the food seller humbly pleaded guilty and immediately apologized. The foodseller said she intended to slice the yams into the pot later after picking them from the floor and didn't pay any mind to how unhealthy her actions were. She then promised never to repeat such again.
