ISPs, which are different from mobile network carriers, mostly serve business organizations and residences, while companies like MTN, Airtel, Globacom, and 9mobile serve a wider range.

In Q1 2023, mobile network providers recorded a total of 150 million active internet customers in the first quarter of 2023, while ISPs had lower subscription statistics. According to NCC statistics, the 108 active ISPs had a total of 194,012 active subscribers as of the end of March this year.
