UI professor killed by suspected assassins in Ibadan.
A professor in the University of Ibadan, has been killed by some suspected assassins. The professor who has been identified as Opeyemi Isaac Ajewole, had been shot.
He was a lecturer in the University of Ibadan in the Department of Forest Resources Management.
This man was killed on his way home on Monday evening. He has been returning to his home located in Moniya in Ibadan.
The body of the professor has been taken to the University of Ibadan Anatomy.
Sources revealed that after these assassins killed him, they stole his car.
A friend of the deceased, Olukayode Ogunsanwo, was able to confirm the incident yesterday, Tuesday to newsmen.
Joke Akinpelu who is the Principal Assistant Registrar, Public Communications, in UI also confirmed the incident on Tuesday.
She revealed he was killed on Monday but they weren't sure if they were hired assassins or armed robbers.
