Nollywood actress Olayode Juliana aka Toyo Baby of Jenifa's Diary, blasts internet troll insulting her mother for speaking Yoruba in public.
In a recent video shared on her page, Olayode Juliana went to the cinema with her mom to watch Funke Akindele's movie "A Tribe Called Judah". After the movie, she asked her mother to give a review and she replied in Yoruba, giving incoherent responses as she tried to speak in English.
This attracted the attention of a troll who commented on the video saying the actress's mother can't speak English despite being from a rich background.
Reacting to this, Toyo Baby issued a subtle warning to the troll, stating that such snide remarks should never be made towards her family. She revealed that she got a DM from a follower who said she doesn't like posting her parents online because they are uneducated. Toyo Baby stated that English is a borrowed language and speaking it doesn't equate to intelligence.
She added that she has never come out to mention that she is from a rich family so she is amazed at how such a comment came from. She urged everyone to respect their parents and flaunt them regardless of their status because they deserve it all.
