A trending video of an angry soldier blasting Lagos governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for ordering the arrest of the young soldier in a viral video has been making the rounds online.
In a recent video, the soldier condemned Sanwo-Olu's act of using his power and influence to treat citizens unfairly. He called out Sanwo-Olu for arresting an innocent Nigerian instead of arresting the touts disturbing the peace of Lagos State. The soldier told the governor to keep doing as he pleases because his tenure will soon come to an end.
He stated that Nigerian soldiers die every day despite working tirelessly to protect the nation from external attacks. He referred to Sanwo-Olu as a "dirty bloody civilian" who acts as if he's above the law. He revealed that the young soldier Sanwo-Olu arrested is a diligent member of the army who has been shot before during one of his expeditions. He asked him to be careful with his actions because he will not be in power for life.
