3 kidnappers killed as Rivers Police raid kidnappers den
Men of the Rivers state police command have raided a kidnappers' den in the state. They were able to kill 4 of these kidnappers in Isiodu Forest in Emohua Local Government Area of the state.
It was the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Emeka Nwonyi who revealed this. He said that the officers had done the operation based on a report which they had gotten. They then moved out to the location around 3.30 am on Friday.
He revealed that a gun duel ensued as soon as these kidnappers had sighted them. They had 3 kidnappers who were later confirmed dead when they got to the hospital.
They were also able to recover 8 magazines, 70 rounds of live ammunition and 10 cartridges.
