A 58-year old woman named Susan Lorincz has been accused of killing Ajike Owens, a Nigerian and mom of 4 by shooting her through her front door.
It was reported that Ajike Owens’ children were playing in a field near an apartment building when a white woman yelled racial slurs at them and asked them to get off her land.
The children left an iPad behind which Lorincz stole. The eldest of Ajike Owens' children, her 10 year old son, came back to get it and she threw the iPad at him and hit him with it. She also threw a roller skate at him in his toe.
After her child was assaulted, Owens knocked on the woman’s door to confront her and without even opening it, she shot through the door, killing her in front of her son.
The incident happened four days ago and Susan Lorincz was just arrested yesterday and she has been charged for manslaughter with a firearm, culpable evidence, battery and two counts of assault.
