The lead pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya has told women that they must bring something to the table in their relationship because they are helpers, not liabilities.
In a recent video, the pastor admonished the women in his congregation not to be dependent on their spouses because God created them to be a helper. He said, "You cannot help anybody if you haven't equipped yourself. If he's bringing the table, you are bringing the chair."
He stated that most women only want to be brides but do not want to perform their duties as wives. "It's easy to wear the dressing dress. That's why the Bible says, 'he that finds a wife' not 'he that finds a bride'. Not every bride is a wife.", he added.
