Access Bank appoints Bolaji Agbede as Acting Chief Executive Officer following the death of Herbert Wigwe.
Recall that Herbert Wigwe, his wife, son, and two others died in a helicopter crash near Nipton, California on Friday, 9th February while going to the Super Bowl.
Access Bank announced the new post of Bolaji Agbede as the Acting CEO on 12th February 2024 after approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria. Bolaji Agbede joined Access Bank in 2003 and has served in various departments including Assistant General, Human Resources, and Executive Director of Business Support in 2022.
She graduated from the University of Lagos with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics and a Master's in Business Administration from Cranfield University UK in 2002.
