Bandits kill driver, abduct passengers in a commercial bus in Ondo
Once again, kidnappers have abducted the passengers of a commercial bus in Ondo State. The total number of passengers isn't specified but the driver was shot dead so they could carry out their mission. Residents were seen gathered around the scene of the incident and the commercial bus was found in the bush along the highway. The on-lookers mentioned that a young girl was abandoned at the scene but her mother was nowhere to be found.
This news has saddened Nigerians as many wondered when the issue of insecurity will be tackled in the economy. There have been different cases of kidnapping in the country and citizens have cried to the government for help. Yet, new cases keep springing up on a daily and it is becoming worrisome.
