On Valentine's day, media personality Toke Makinwa shared ten things she wished she had known earlier in life. She thought to share this to inspire her fans who might be feeling insecure about not having a significant other to spend Valentine's day with. Toke said that being single isn't a death sentence as everyone would find their person. To her, it is better than begging for love because love is one of those things nobody should beg for. She advised people never to negotiate their self-worth because it is one of the most valuable possessions they have.
She also added, "You are your one true love, never forget that. Nothing will bring you more leave than your mental health, prioritize this and never ever compromise that for nobody. Never ever settle. Who you pick to do life with is the second most important decision you'll ever make in your life, it can make or break you. The greatest love story is the one you have with your creator. He is madly in love with you. His love never changes and it will never fail."
