Nigerian comedian and actor Adebowale Adedayo popularly known as Mr Macaroni just bagged a honorary doctorate degree in Creative Writing (Honoris Causa) from the Precious Cornerstone University in Ibadan.
The 30-year-old thespian made this announcement to the public via his social media pages yesterday referring to himself as Dr. Macaroni.
He wrote, "Dr. Macaroni. I am deeply honored to be considered worthy at the discretion of the Senate and Council of The Precious CornerStone University Ibadan to be deemed deserving of public recognition and award of the prestigious degree of DOCTOR OF CREATIVE WRITING (HONORIS CAUSA)"
This honor was conferred to him at the University's second convocation ceremony which took place on Saturday 11th November, 2023. Mr Macaroni specially thanked the Council, Senate and the staff of the university for their utmost support. He also expressed his gratitude to his friends, family and his fans for sticking with him.
"I am grateful to God Almighty for his blessings and favor, The Council, staff and students of Precious CornerStone University Ibadan, my family, friends and all supporters of Mr Macaroni.
To the millions of people out there pursuing their dreams and working hard daily to achieve these aspirations, don’t stop, don’t relent! You will be celebrated!", he added.
