Congolese miners rescued from rubble
A video has gone viral on social media showing when a Congo man used his bare hands to dig through a rubble to rescue some other men who were trapped.
The gold miners were tapped underneath a rubble of collapsed gold mine.
We learnt that it was heavy rain that caused the mine to collapse on them while they were working.
As seen in the video, those around were joyful and rejoicing as they pulled out these men from the collapsed mine.
The Man carefully placed himself close to the rubble and kept digging through to pull out these men one after the other.
We learnt all 9 of the miners were rescued and they survive.
Many people blame the methods of mining which lack safety protocols. Some mining incidents have happened in the past in Africa and some were not so lucky.
