As of Monday morning, the death toll from the collapsed three-story building in Ebute Metta, Lagos, had grown to five, according to officials with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

On Sunday night, at about 10.56 p.m., an old three-story structure at No. 24, Ibadan Street, Herbert Macaulay Way, Ebute Meta, collapsed.

The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service announced this on Twitter late Sunday.
