Ebonyi crash claims 12 lives
12 people have died in Ebonyi auto crash on Tuesday.
The Federal Road Safety Corps in Ebonyi state confirmed this news of the death of 12 people.
Mr Uche Chukwurah who is the sector commander mentioned that the accident happened at the Ezillo end of the Enugu-Abakaliki-Ogoja highway in the state.
He also mentioned a white Ford shuttle bus and another vehicle which had no registration number were involved in the crash.
The vehicles crashed while they were on High speed.
12 people including 10 males and 2 females died while 2 sustained serious injuries from the accident.
He also added that the accident happened around 10am.
He revealed that those injured were taken to the Alex-Ekwueme Federal Teaching Hospital in Abakaliki in the state for medical treatment.
The Federal Road Safety Corps have sympathized with the families of the deceased and those injured.
