Ex-Dividend Stocks for January 14th

As of Tuesday, January 14th, several companies are going ex-dividend. To qualify for the next dividend payout, shares must be purchased before the market closes today. Highlights include American Financial Group (AFG) offering a quarterly dividend of $0.80 with a yield of 2.33%, and Bank OZK (OZK) providing a quarterly dividend of $0.42, delivering a notable yield of 3.70%.

Special mention goes to Apartment Investment and Management (AIV), issuing a one-time special dividend of $0.60. However, be mindful of companies like GE Healthcare (GEHC), with a much smaller payout at $0.04 and a yield of just 0.20%.

Investors eyeing steady income should also note Quest Diagnostics (DGX) with a 1.85% yield and Heartland Financial (HTLF) at 1.90%.

Make sure to review payout ratios and payable dates to align your investment strategy with your financial goals.
