FG Declares Monday, workers day as a Public Holiday.


The Federal Government has declared next Monday which is the 1st of May as a Public Holiday. This is to celebrate workers day.

It was Rauf Aregbesola who is the Minister of Interior, that made the declaration and this was on behalf of the Federal Government.

He revealed this in a statement that was signed by Dr Shuaib Belgore, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.

He celebrated and congratulated all workers in the country. He also appreciated them for their hard work and diligence. He mentioned that their contributions are essential for the country's greatness.

He also commended security agencies in the country for fighting against criminals.
He admonished them not to give up.

He also advised Nigerians to be watchful and report any suspicious persons and activities.
