Former Kaduna Governor, El-Rufai pays visit to Ex-president, Muhammadu Buhari.
The former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai recently paid a visit to the former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari. He paid a courtesy visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari and this was in his hometown which is located in Daura, Katsina State. El-Rufai is a Nigerian politician who served as the Governor of a kaduna state for 8 years (2 terms). He served as governor from 2015 to 2023. He once served as the Minister of the federal capital territory and this was between 2003 and 2007. El-Rufai is 63 years old.
Muhammadu Buhari is the former President of Nigeria. He is 80 years old. He served as the president of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023. He was succeeded by the current president, who is president Tinubu. After he left office in May 2023, he moved to his hometown in Daura. El-Rufai recently paid him a courtesy alongside some of his former aides.
It was Muyiwa Adekeye, who is the Special Adviser on Media and Communication to the Ex-Governor, El-Rufai who revealed the visit. He shared the information on his twitter account. He shared photos from the visit on twitter. This is the first visit the Ex-Governor would pay to the Ex-president since both of them left office on the 29th of May, 2023. The former Honorary Adviser, Jimi Lawal, and former administrator Kaduna Capital Development Authority, Hafiz Bayero were also present.
