Four Nigerian caregivers were jailed in the UK for maltreating and abusing an 89-year-old woman suffering from dementia.

Disturbing footage circulating online has shown how Nigerian caregivers Morounranti Adefila, 43, Ame Tunkara, 33, Bridget Aideyan, 49, and Danny Ohen, 39, meted out physical abuse on an elderly woman suffering from dementia.

Back in 2020, the family of the 89-year-old installed a camera around her house after noticing her bruised arm. The disturbing footage revealed how the woman was manhandled by these four Nigerians, including hitting her with a pillow.

Sadly, the woman passed away and her grandchildren took the footage to the Care Quality Commission and the West Midlands Police. Morounranti Adefila and Ame Tunkara were found guilty and sentenced to four months imprisonment. Also, Bridget Aideyan and Danny Ohen were sentenced to six months and four months respectively.
