Nigerian singer Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon popularly known as Reekado Banks commiserates with his senior colleague Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid after saying he misses his late mom.
Singer Wizkid lost his mom, Jane Dolapo Balogun on August 18, 2023, in London. In a recent post, the singer expressed that losing his mother was the deepest pain he had ever felt in his life. He asked fans to respect his feelings at the moment because he hasn't been his best self since her death.
This came after netizens noticed Wizkid's sad countenance at the movie premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in London on Tuesday. Singer Wizkid has always referred to his mom as the only love of his life. He even dedicated a song to his mother titled "Mummy Mi" off his sophomore album "Ayo".
Reacting to this, Reekado Banks said he can relate to Wizkid's pain because he had felt the same way before when he lost his mom in 2022. He expressed that many don't understand the struggles behind showing up like nothing happened.
