Grammy-nominated artist David Adeleke popularly known as Davido finally breaks the silence on his loss at the 2024 Grammys saying he is fine with the nominations and he only wants to hear his songs on the radio.
Singer Davido lost all 3 Grammy nominations at the just-concluded awards ceremony after having a successful career run in 2023. There were high hopes that the "Unavailable" crooner would bring the award(s) home but it didn't go as planned.
Davido's album Timeless was nominated for the Global Music Album, and his songs "Feel" and "Unavailable" for Global Music Performance and Best African Music Performance respectively.
In a recent interview, Davido said getting 3 Grammy nominations is a big deal for him because all he's ever wanted was to hear his songs played on the radio. Davido added that being recognized by the Recording Academy is a great honor and he is proud of himself.
