Lady crushed to death by a container in Osun state
An unidentified lady was crushed to death in Ilesa, Osun state, by a container after it fell on her car. The lady was said to be driving when this container suddenly fell from the truck and landed on her vehicle. On-lookers reported that the lady struggled underneath the container for an hour before she gave up the ghost. If help had arrived sooner to lift the container, there was a chance that she would have survived the accident.
One of the good samaritans who called for help said that none of the road safety officials were spotted at the scene of the accident and it took over an hour before a crane arrived at the scene to lift the heavy container off the lady's car. Immediately after her body was retrieved, it was deposited to the closest mortuary in the state.
