Nollywood actor and singer Lege Miami pleaded with Nigerians to stop raining curses on him for failing to post Mohbad's pictures. After singer Mohbad's death was announced, colleagues, fans, and fellow celebrities posted pictures and memories they had of him on their respective social media pages.
However, some netizens noticed that Lege Miami did not post his pictures and began to curse him out. The actor was filled with guilt and had to clarify his reasons for not posting the late Mohbad's pictures.
He said that he intentionally didn't make a post because he didn't want to be tagged as a hypocrite. Lege added that when Mohbad was alive, he posted neither his pictures nor promoted his music. Therefore, he felt he had no right to post after his demise.
He added that the best thing he could do was to get a hold of Mohbad's wife's account number and send her some money. He doesn't believe in posting the dead because it amounts to nothing.
