Abroad-based Nigerian comedian Jectimi Comedy has urged fellow Nigerians to keep their calm until the final whistle is blown at the oncoming AFCON finals before mocking the Ivory Coast. He said he is very aware that Ivory Coast players do not smile and can be very brutal when it comes to playing football. Therefore, Nigerians shouldn't provoke them any further so the game would go smoothly.
He pleads to Nigerians not to brag about winning the AFCON cup because the Ivory Coast players are known in history to always win the AFCON. He added, "Make una no make mouth o till we make sure day them don blow the final whistle say na we dey win. You understand. Before we celebrate. And if you watch Ivory Coast you will know say Dem no dey does English. Them no care to hear English. Their own na French strong French."
