Late Prophet T.B. Joshua's daughter, Ajoke, revealed that her father abused her several times before his death.

In the newly released BBC documentary, the Disciples of T.B. Joshua revealed the shocking truth about the ministry of the prophet and the unfair treatment he meted out to his members during his lifetime. Among the witnesses was his daughter Ajoke, whom he had outside wedlock.

Telling her side of the story, Ajoke revealed that she was forced to be a Disciple when she was in primary school. Ajoke recalled a terrible occurrence with her father T.B Joshua that involved physical abuse. On that fateful day, Ajoke revealed that she slept longer than she was supposed to. Some Disciples came to wake her up. Under the instructions of the prophet, she was whipped with an electrical cord and placed under a hot shower.

She said, "I'm talking about years and years of abuse. Consistent abuse. Abuse that was unending. I couldn't even have an identity. That kind of pain cannot be put into words. I felt like I really don't deserve to be alive."

The Disciples also attested to the maltreatment Ajoke went through at the hands of the late prophet T.B. Joshua. They said Ajoke's existence was a threat to the cleric's reputation and he treated her like an outcast.
