Nigerian singer and songwriter Seun Kuti has stated that Nigerians were suffering even when a Naira was equal to a dollar.
In a recent video, Seun Kuti said suffering isn't a new thing to Nigerians and the economic hardship didn't start as a result of the increase in exchange rate. He stated that the well-to-do Nigerians only grumble about the economy when the exchange rate isn't in their favor.
Seun Kuti said Nigerians are gullible people who agree with whatever the government does or tells them. He urged Nigerians to speak up instead of complaining about the current economic situation.
