The richest woman in Nigeria, Folorunsho Alakija parted ways with her husband, Modupe Alakija, after 30 years of marriage.

According to sources, Folorunsho Alakija and her husband Modupe have lived separately for a while now. The couple have irreconcilable differences which caused Mr. Modupe to leave the millionaire's house in Ikoyi, Lagos, and settle elsewhere.

The couple have been having marital issues for a long time but they kept it a secret because of their societal status.

Folorunsho and Modupe Alakija got married in November 1976. They have four sons from their union, Dele, Ladi, Folarin, and Rotimi Alakija. Folorunsho Alakija made most of her money as an oil mogul. She is the CEO of Famfa Oil and owner of the Rose of Sharon group.
