NYSC uniform should have a ranking, lady says
A Nigerian lady suggested that the Government consider issuing the NYSC uniform in ranks. Those who graduated from the University should have a different uniform from those who graduated from other colleagues. She wrote, "NYSC uniform is supposed to have some ranking, to differentiate between BSC..., HND corp members."
While some thought the suggestion was baseless, others suggested they rank the uniform according to one's CGPA. That one would bring forth shame to those with the lowest CGPA.
Millions of Nigerian graduates enroll in the NYSC program every year. Graduates are scheduled to different parts of the country to serve their fatherland for one year and in return, receive an allowance of N33,000.
