Actress Omoni Oboli complains about how the INEC officials refused to show up at her polling unit in VGC. They instead asked them to come to the express.
Omoni Oboli is a Nollywood actress, director and filmmaker. She was out this morning to vote during the gubernatorial elections in Lagos but encountered some problems which she shared in a video online. She shared this video on her social media to show people what is going on during the elections.
She mentioned how they had arrived at the unit early enough to set up everything and wait for the officials. Eventually they received information that these INEC officials had refused to come to VGC and instead asked the voters at VGC to come to the express to meet them.
She mentioned how this has always been the venue for those residing in VGC and mentioned they weren't a small number, naming thousands.
She expressed her anger at how those officials expect all of them to walk to the express to meet them and to cast their votes.
