President Tinubu appoints Orire Agbaje, a 400-level student as member of tax reforms committee
The President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed a 400 level university student as a member of the Tax reform committee.
President Tinubu appointed Orire Agbaje who is a 400 level student of the University of Ibadan, currently studying Economics.
She has been appointed as one of the members of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms at the Presidential Villa, in Abuja.
This happened yesterday, Tuesday, 8th of August 2023. President Tinubu inaugurated the Committee which consists of 70 members including Miss Orire Agbaje.
It was the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media and Digital Communications, Mr Olusegun Dada who shared a photo of President Tinubu with his new appointee, Orire on twitter.
He captioned the photo saying it was a beautiful moment when President Tinubu met with Miss Orire Agbaje.
Mr Taiwo Oyedele who is the former Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) is the chairman of this 70-man Committee.
Who is Orire agbaje?
Orire is a university student who was recently appointed as a member of the Tax reform committee by the president of Nigeria.
She is in 400 level and she is in the department of Economics at the University of Ibadan.
She also happens to be the President of the Nigerian Universities Tax Club. She is also a member of the Students Finance Club, she is a Campus Ambassador and also has Finance certifications from a Corporate Finance Institute.
