SMCI Explores Capital Raise Amid Recent Stock Slump

Super Micro Computer (SMCI) is seeking to strengthen its finances by raising fresh capital, according to Bloomberg. The company has reportedly hired Evercore to explore options, including issuing additional shares and bonds.

The stock has faced significant pressure, falling 17% last week and another 7.5% at Monday’s open, bringing its five-day losses to 24%. Despite the recent drop, SMCI remains up 19% for the year and has gained nearly 60% over the past month.
