Sokoto gas explosion leads to death of 4, others injured
Four people have lost their lives in Sokoto due to a gas explosion which happened recently.
Three other people were reported to be injured from this incident and are now undergoing treatment at a hospital in the state.
This was caused by a gas cylinder explosion which happened around Isa Local Government Area yesterday, Sunday in Sokoto State.
A witness revealed the explosion had happened in a welder’s shop and killed these 4 people. Their bodies were scattered due to the explosion.
Some policemen later came to the scene to take the scattered bodies away.
Sanusi Abubakar who is the Police Public Relations Officer of the state confirmed this incident which happened on Sunday.
He mentioned this incident had nothing to do with the security challenges that are being faced in the area. He confirmed it was a gas cylinder which exploded in a welder’s shop.
