Stop dressing half unclad, Remi Tinubu says to Nigerian girls
The First Lady of Nigeria, Remi Tinubu, tells Nigerian girls to stop dressing half-unclad in public. She complained about the rate of indecency in the country from ladies who wear little to nothing to the public. She added that Nigerians are beautiful people and our culture should be preserved. Therefore, ladies should start emulating the men who are always covered and stop exposing their bodies in public.
This message stirred controversy in the media as many questioned Remi Tinubu whether this was the most pressing issue in the country. Corruption and hunger have eaten deep into the veins of the country and Nigerians expected that she would speak on those. However, she thought to address the girls of this great nation and many are faulting her for doing that.
