Terrorists Abduct village head and 49 people in Niger State.

Some suspected Terrorists have attacked a community in Niger state and abducted a number of people.

They abducted a village head and 49 other people from the village.

The village head was the head of the Fugge community in Niger state. This incident took place on Friday.

They mostly abducted women and children. Only a few people were males. Asides the people they took, they also stole their cattle.

These men had invaded the village during the day on motorcycles and as soon as they entered they began to shoot randomly into the air.

Some fighter jets who were around the area had spotted these terrorists and launched an attack on them as they were taking the victims.

Many of these terrorists were killed in the attack. Those who survived fled into the forests with the abducted villages.

They have begun to demand for money, fuel and motorcycles from the families of the victims as ransome.

The Spokesman of the State Police Command, DSP Abiodun Wasiu has not been able to be reached yet.
