Actress Ifu Ennada complained about the adjustments she had to make to her diet due to the situation of the Nigerian economy. She said, "The Nigerian economy has successfully made adjustments to my diet." She posted a video of her drinking garri, something that she normally would not do, but the prices of items have humbled her. She added that each time people begged her for financial help, she forwarded a video of her drinking garri to them. This makes it clear to them that she is also struggling and can no longer afford to eat the kind of food she desires.
